According to Lt. Farley with the Tulsa Police Department, the crash happened at 6:20 a.m. Monday morning. This is an ongoing investigation, and we will update this blog as more details arise.
The bicyclist was crossing the intersection of 45th and Yale when a SUV traveling in the north bound lanes hit the bike. This intersection is South of OU Tulsa and the Tulsa Promenade mall.
The bicyclist is in critical condition and has been taken to the hospital. The driver is cooperating with police. It is currently unclear what led to the crash.
